CONSERVED AESTHETICS WITH BOOSTED EFFICIENCY
D and R Design were recently asked to install a new hardwood front door with Crittall side frames and new Crittall bay window to a Mayfair property refurbishment. With very strict council conservation rules it was important that the new door and windows matched the old single glazed windows.
The hardwood door and frames were made by bespoke joinery specialist Woodley's joinery. The new frames and door were then carefully fitted by D and R’s professional installers, Matt and Simon, to the existing timber arch ready for new Crittall double glazed frames.
The Crittall frames were then glazed with 84 individual heritage double glazed units to keep the appearance of the old inefficient single glazing.
